Using SMS senders

Whether you intend to use our open-source or paid "your own phone" solution, you are going to stumble upon our SMS Sender interface.
Once you have run your app / signed in to your TextFlow account, a screen like this will pop out.
On the upper side of the screen you will see the list of the SIM cards on your phone. If you want no problems with our service functionalities, your cards should not have the same name, in case they have, rename one of them, since it is what helps us identify a SIM card on a device.
One sender is used to allow sending SMS from a SIM card on your device to any of the phone numbers registered in that country, be it using your own server, our SMS API or the outreach tool. You can have multiple senders for each of your cards, which means that that you can use one SIM card to send SMS to multiple countries.
There are also two checkboxes next to a sender when you create it. Worldwide means that you will use your sender when there are no available senders for the country that you plan to send to.
Our solution does not guarantee you that carrier will allow you to send bulk automated messages, since it is a part of your own agreement with your carrier. However, we provide you the "safety" option, which can help you limit your sending rate to 6 SMS/min, reducing the chance for your messages to trigger the limit.
